Cross-Helix Power Cord Reviews
The [Cross-Helix] cables spoke for themselves. Not only were they better than my reference, they had zero hours of burn-in time. Even from first play they were more detailed, had more musical flow, and were more extended than ANY of the cables I had heard in my system—and by a long shot. Not only that, but they do the EXACT same thing in every system I have demoed them in!
The Mojo Audio [Cross-Helix] power cord has beaten in my system or systems I’ve heard: Transparent, Virtual Dynamics Genesis $6,000, Tara Labs Cobolt $2,500, Less Loss DFPC Signature $1,125, Shunyata King Cobra $800, Shunyata Anaconda $1,000, DCCA Master Reference $1,700, Argento FMR $7,000, Venhaus Flavor PCs, Stealth Dream $3,500, and Purist Audio Design.

Ben was truly a pleasure to deal with, informative and honest. [Cross-Helix] was sonic improvement over my previous hi-fi cable. Would buy again without hesitation.

I have four Mojo Audio Cross-Helix Power Cords in my system. I have used JPS, Kimber Cable, Shunyata, and Furutech power cords. Mojo Audio [Cross-Helix] power cords are more musically involving with better pace and rhythm than other power cords I have tried. You hear all the musicians playing their instruments individually so much better with Mojo Audio [Cross-Helix] cords!
I highly recommend these power cords. If you enjoy music or great home theater sound, Mojo Audio power cords demand a try! Once they are on your system, you will be thrilled with results!

Other than Mojo Audio [Cross-Helix power] cords, I enjoy Nirvana Audio, DCCA Music Reference, Black Sand Silver Reference, Jena Labs Model One, Audio Prism Super Natural, Less Loss DFPC, and others. In the context of the current system, none of these were preferred over the Mojo Audio cords.
My impression of the Mojo Audio Cross-Helix Power Cords has changed very little over the last month of continuous use...immediately pleasing and easy to listen to...smooth break-in...so well-balanced that no single feature stands out. Neither dark nor light/transparent sounding...particularly expressive midrange...their fantastic dynamic range is most notable when listening to vocals which are rendered as textured, lifelike, natural, not hyped, and especially uncompressed...so well-balanced that the slightly soft treble never seems lacking...compare very well to the non-Sig Less Loss cords but with an even more expressive midrange, capable of portraying subjectively more emotion and nuance...tight, tuneful bass.
At current, best-value prices, Mojo Audio [Cross-Helix power] cords should be on everyone’s short list of “all good” products to audition.

I purchased two of your [Cross-Helix] PCs via Audiogon/Ebay and they arrived yesterday in good shape, thanks. I plugged ’em in right away, they sounded terrible. I listened for a little while but gave up—really terrible. I’m thinking, oooh mannn, now I’m going to have to contact them for a refund. I turned down the music and left the room. Four hours later I go back in my listening room and WHAT THE HECK?? These are not e-v-e-n the same cables.
After a four hour relaxing period these PCs had changed from awful to incredible! I have literally waited months on some cables in the past to open up—these did it in four hours.
What I hear: Black/quiet background—NO, I MEAN R-E-A-L-L-Y BLACK/QUIET BACKGROUND! Laser beam-lightning fast sound! Very strong, balanced, musical with wide open soundstage. Excellent bass. Excellent imaging! Hell, it’s all excellent!!!
I have these on my CDP and pre-amp. I am very, very happy AND satisfied with your power cables! Thank you for such a superior product at near WalMart pricing.

I’m very happy with your [Cross-Helix] power cord. I have it on my processor and I immediately noticed the difference in something that has bothered me ever since I have had a home theater: I really have been unable to appreciate music. There was a definite loss in dynamics, richness, natural voice sound, and sound staging in width and dimension. I lost the nuances.
Well, I’m thrilled to say a lot of it has come back. The voice was the first thing I noticed. It’s richer, clearer, and more natural sounding. On top of that, the whole system is more clean sounding, richer, has more dimensionality, and the surround experience is more cohesive. I was unimpressed with the rear channels speakers previously. No distinct sounds. Not anymore. They are more articulate than I have ever heard. Music is definitely an improvement now as well.
I am happy to say that I now know that a power cord can make a difference.

I did extensive power cable listening tests comparing an 11 AWG Zu Bok, a 13 AWG Mac Ultimate Source, and an early generation 10AWG nonbraided Mojo Audio NOS WE cord with Furutech connectors. I really hated the SQ of the Zu Bok as the low frequencies were nonexistent in comparison. Overall I preferred the Mojo Audio 10AWG nonbraided power cord with Furutech connectors.

The Mojo Audio [Cross-Helix] PC is probably my best investment so far. I believe it brought out the full potential of the DAC.
