Mojo Audio offers the most advanced wire, geometry, shielding, and plug options, to optimize power transfer.

Our standard DC power cables come with a 4-pin XLR that mates with Mojo Audio power supplies.

These 4-pin XLR plugs are locking, shielded, silver-plated, and rated at 10 amps per pin. This allows effortless transfer of power without restriction or corruption.

NOTE: unless you place a custom order all of our cables will come with a 4-pin XLR at the power supply side.

Two wire options:

• Twisted pair 19AWG Kimber VariStrand wire cryo treated and fully shielded.
• V-Quad 4 x 21AWG OCC UniCrystal copper wires w/ anti-resonant cover.

NOTE: the 19AWG VariStrand option is available in a Dual V configuration to simultaneously power two components.

Our standard wire is cryogenically treated 19AWG high-purity copper Kimber VariStrand that is engineered to cancel asymmetrical harmonics. The twisted pair cancel inductive common-mode noise. For additional isolation from RF and EMI noise the wires are covered with a shield that floats at the component side. This assures unwanted noise is transferred to and neutralized by the power supply.

Our highest performance wire option is a V-Quad Cu21 with four 21 AWG solid-core Ohno Cast Copper (OCC) UniCrystal wires. Each of the conductors is insulated with a foamed Fluoropolymer insulation with less than a 1.5 dielectric constant. The conductors are arranged in a low inductance "star quad" self-shielding geometry. The entire Star Quad bundle is then wrapped securely, with two layers of PTFE to constrain inter-conductor micro-movements. And an ultra-flexible anti-resonant covering is used to further dampen mechanical resonance.

Component Side Connectors:

At the component side, in addition to our high-performance hardwired solutions, we offer an assortment of the most common DC power plugs.

Common plug sizes and current ratings:

• 5.5mm x 2.5mm plugs rated at 5 amps
• 5.5mm x 2.1mm plugs rated at 3.5 amps
• 3.5mm x 1.3mm rated at 2 amps

For the highest performance we recommend the Oyaide 5.5mm x 2.5mm or 5.5mm x 2.1mm gold-plated high-purity copper plug options.

For custom cables any combination of plugs can be used on either end.

• 1 meter to power components one shelf away from the power supply
• 1.5 meters to power components up to 4' from the power supply

Our most popular length is the 1 meter which allows the versatility of components being on the same shelf or one shelf away from the power supply.
