Music Servers
NEW 432 EVO Music Servers
The 432 EVO is a series of four nearly identical music servers which range in price from $3,500 to $16,000. All servers in the 432 EVO series include a high-end CD ripper, CD player, server, and streamer. All servers in the 432 EVO series can be upgraded for the difference in price between the two models up to the top-of-the-line 432 EVO Master.
The main differences between the four servers in the 432 EVO series is the power supply and USB output. The entry-level server has one linear power supply for all components and outputs USB from the main board. The lower mid-level server has two linear power supplies, one for the computer section and one for the isolated and reclocked USB output card. The upper mid-level server has three linear power supplies, one for the main computer board, one for the CPU, and one for isolated and reclocked USB card and Master Clock. And the top-of-the-line has an ultra-high performance bespoke power supply module with three 100% independent linear power supplies for unparalleled performance.
What gives the 432 EVO world-class performance is the advanced Linux which dedicates each of the four cores in the ultra-high efficiency low-noise Intel CPU to a specific function. One core streams the music from the SSD, one core does all Roon functions, one core runs the optimized and minimized Linux OS, and one core does the upsampling and DSP functions. The result is a the lowest possible latency and jitter which yields unmatched organic character and musical flow.
The 432 stands for 432Hz Pythagorean music tuning which is reputed to sound more relaxing than the standard 440Hz. Famous musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Prince, and John Lennon all tuned to 432Hz. The unique feature the 432 EVO has is that it gives you the option to convert any musical signal to this magical 432Hz. The result is nothing short of extradentary.
Each model in the 432 EVO series rivals or outperforms servers costing several times the price and the top-of-the-line 432 EVO Master is considered by many to be the best sounding music server available regardless of price.
The 432 EVO Master has won several awards including: Munich 2017: Best Sound, AV Showrooms: Best Sound, and HiFi Pig: one of the best sounding rooms at the show.
