45-day no-risk audition:
Any product manufactured by and sold by Mojo Audio comes with a 45-day no-risk audition. It does not matter if the item is sold as new, used, demo, factory reconditioned, or prototype.
Any products covered by this return policy that are returned within 45 days will be refunded at the full value of the purchase price excluding the cost of shipping and any processing fees such as those from PayPal or Square. The 45 days is counted from the day the product is shipped to the day the product is received when returned. Customer pays the cost of shipping.
This return-for-refund option does not apply to special-order products that do not appear on our website, or items on our website that are customized with nonstandard termination, nonstandard length, or nonstandard configuration. Accepting returns on special-order items is up to the discretion of Mojo Audio, and refunds will likely not be at full value.
If items are returned in any condition other than like new, it is up to the discretion of Mojo Audio to determine if items will be accepted for return, and if so, what percentage of the purchase price will be refunded.
Quantity discounts become void if part of an order is returned. Partial returns may result in a refund that is less than was paid per item if a quantity discount was applied to the order.
90-day full-value upgrade:
If there is another product manufactured by Mojo Audio that sells for a higher price that is intended for the same end use, items returned for upgrade within 90 days will be credited the full value of their purchase price minus the cost of shipping and processing fees such as those from PayPal or Square.
This upgrade policy does not apply toward different product categories, different lengths of the same product, newer versions of the same product, or different connectors on the same product. The 90 days is counted from the day the product is shipped to the day the product is received.
This full-value upgrade can only be applied toward the list price of new items. Full-value toward upgrades is not valid for trade in toward demo, used, factory reconditioned, or sale items. It is up to the discretion of Mojo Audio to determine what percentage of the full-value is applicable toward the purchase of anything except new products intended for the same use at list price.
If after 90 days a customer wants to exchange for a different version of the same product, or a product intended for a different purpose, it is up to the discretion of Mojo Audio to determine if the products are exchangeable, and if so, at what percentage of the original purchase price.
Transferable 5-year warranty on all new or demo products:
New or demo products that are manufactured by and sold by Mojo Audio are warrantied for five (5) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is transferable if the product is sold within the five (5) year period. Proof of purchase, such as a copy of a Pay Pal transaction, is required to validate our warranty.
Note: serial numbers are date codes and are valid proof of date of manufacture which is acceptable to determine warranties.
If for any reason one of our products should fail under normal use, Mojo Audio will repair or replace them free of charge. It is up to the discretion of Mojo Audio to repair versus replace a product. All replacement parts or replacement products will be of our current, most similar items. Wear, tear, abrasion, crushing, water damage, heat damage, oxidation, damage caused by animals, or damage caused by misuse are not covered by this warranty.
The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping to Mojo Audio and Mojo Audio is responsible for the cost of return shipping the repaired or replaced items back to the customer.
If an item is returned for repair and there is nothing wrong with it, for example a fuse is blown or the fuse holder is not properly closed, a test bench charge of $75 plus return shipping will be charged to the customer.
Under no circumstances should any Mojo Audio products be opened or modified. Opening or modifying voids the warranty as well as our 45-day no-risk audition and 90-day full-value upgrade options.
Transferable 2-year warranty on all used or factory reconditioned products:
Factory reconditioned or used products that are manufactured by Mojo Audio are warrantied for two (2) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is transferable if the product is sold within the two (2) year period. Proof of purchase, such as a copy of a Pay Pal transaction, is required to validate our warranty.

Operating systems and software are warrantied for 90-days :
Because of the ever changing and upgrading done to operating systems and player software we can not warranty them beyond 90-days from date of purchase. For 90-days from date of purchase all updates, upgrades, networking issues, hardware compatibility issues, and DAC interface issues, will be handled free of charge by our technicians. In most cases this can be done over the internet. After 90-days there will be service charges for technical support. We will continue to provide technical support on operating systems and software for a minimum of 5-years from date of purchase.
Note that we can not guarantee that all hardware devices will be compatible with our operating system and software. Please confirm if your hardware is compatible prior to purchase. Note that we can not guarantee that a specific player software update will be compatible with our operating system. Please confirm that the upgrade for your player software is compatible prior to doing any updates.
Products sold by but not manufactured by Mojo Audio:
Products not manufactured by Mojo Audio that are sold by Mojo Audio have the original manufacturer's warranty and are not included under any other Mojo Audio warranty. Products purchased from Mojo Audio that are manufactured by another company do not have a 45-day return-for-refund option.
Terms of return and upgrade policies:
Under no circumstances should any Mojo Audio products be opened by anyone other than an authorized technician. Opening voids all warranties as well as the 45-day no-risk audition and 90-day full-value upgrade options.
Rather than incurring the cost of international shipping and being required to wait extended periods of time in transit, international customers may recommend a qualified technician. Authorization for international technicians must be given in writing (email) for them to be valid.
Please note that the 45-day no-risk audition and 90-day full-value upgrade options may be extended with prior written consent (email). If you contact us via email prior to the end of these periods, we usually grant extensions.
No returns will be accepted unless accompanied by proper paperwork, such as a copy of the invoice and/or Pay Pal transaction. Returns should be repacked in the original packaging, should include all accessories, and should be shipped to the address shown on the Contact Us page of this website.
